Alternative Valentine’s Day Ideas

I have conflicted feelings about Valentine’s Day.  Any day that is about spreading more love and remembering to tell people how much we love them is good in my book.  What I hate is the pressure it puts on people … Continue reading

Things I Love! – Yoobi Highlighters

It should be no surprise that I love stationary and office supplies.  I love color coding and organizing my life in my planner.  I just got my new passion planner a few weeks ago and I love it, but I have struggled to find the right balance of colored pens/pencils/gel pens/markers/highlighters.  Markers bleed through, colored pens and pencils don’t stand out and have the blocking ability I’m looking for, and highlighters just never seem to have enough color variety for me.

Friday at Target I found the perfect thing!  If you haven’t seen the Yoobi section at target before, its a line of office/school supplies that looks like its probably direct towards high school students.  They have brightly colored supplies that look fun and functional and the best part is that for every supply you buy, they donate and equal amount/item to a classroom in need in the US.

I browsed quickly not expecting to really find what I was looking for because I didn’t find it even in the larger pens/highlighters/gel pens section.  But there it was……

These highlighters are first of all super cute and I love the color selection.  At less than $5 for the set I was tempted to buy two! (I saw online that Sharpie had a 10 pack of different colored highlighters and it was $14!)  I got home and put them to work right away.  They have a great small chiseled tip so they are perfect for small planner lines but also give me the ability to block out a larger section easily.

One of the greatest parts of these highlighters though is that there is absolutely ZERO bleed through!

No Blue bleed through!

So head over to Target and pick them up!  They are great and you’ll be doing a little bit of good for a school in need!
